Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I just got a call from crew resources telling me that my RMA has been approved with a retirement date of 01SEP. Time to get out of the way. The only sad part is that my last flight was in the right seat giving CA TOE. Didn't even get the landing. I wish all of you the best of luck for the future at the BIG D. I really believe that the best is yet to come. I will still keep lurking here however.

Either way, thanks for keeping it safe all these years.
"Crew Resources expects to post an Advance Entitlement Bid early this week that will begin the process of backfilling for pilots who elected to participate in the 2012 Retiree Medical Account (RMA) program. The bid will post in DBMS (eCrew/iCrew) and on the Crew Resources and Scheduling web page on DeltaNet. In addition, Andy Hummel, General Manager- Flight Operations Crew Resources will publish a memo explaining the bid that will be posted to the Flight Ops Home page. All of these documents will also be sent via subscription e-mail."

Uncle Sam is correct guys. The way the company and alpa see it is that all the FAA cares about is 24 hours free from duty. You don't have to answer your phone while on the break but you are responsible for nearly anything they place on your line while your on the break. Both the CPO and alpa told me the same thing. I thought I had to be notified before my break starts but apparently not. For a simple minded person such as myself it's basically 24 hours off but the 12 hour leash never ends.
