That too, but last time we had a consolidation/transaction we were hiring. The pilots that got seniority numbers after the "date of constructive notice" were placed via DOH on the bottom.

Also, generally execs leave six month to a year after a deal. If for some reason they stick around, the churn happens right before another deal. (Generally)

From a new thread:
Hey all,

I am trying to figure out the amount of soft pay one can expect the first year at Hawaiian?

I know the pay scale on APC shows $36 an hour. I am just trying to get a take on how the first year pay will pan out. I do not have an offer of employment there but have been asked to interview.

if there is someone who can provide a few details using the A330 as an example.

What is the training pay, and are hotels provided?

thanks
.
So as to not to ruin the OPs thread, I copied and pasted it here.

HAL New Hire, A330 B Pay... $36/hr
2nd Year A330 B Pay... $90ish/hr
3rd Year DAL A330 B Pay... $143/hr
4th Year DAL A330 B Pay... $151/hr.

Not bad, $150+/hr and sitting way up the DAL seniority list.

There are no 330B's at DAL less than ~13 yrs seniority :eek:

Hey. I'm gonna resign my seniority and get on with the NFL. Apparently, they need officials. Might be a short-lived career but they don't have FOQA, or ASAP, apparently. Whose in with me?? ;)

Lucky for us the seniority integration wouldn't work that way since it wouldn't be a merger of equals.

So any APC'ers headed down to the BVIs for the Interline Regatta in a couple weeks?

I'm already planning my budget based on that 5 yr 777A rate.

The point is they will argue for category relative and sue for DFR if they don't get it. Every new hire class they run can move most HI pilots up about a thousand or so numbers (depending on class size of course) if relative seniority ends up having anything to do with it. Also, every time they run a new hire class, the new hires in the class senior to them instantly slot in with 2001-2007 hires. Again, if relative is the model. And rest assured they will fight for it and sue if they don't get it.

Was a merger announced?
