Consider the reason/solution and vote accordingly in November. (Not a political post... just a heads up.)

Don't have the contract open right now, but I'm pretty sure any aircraft below 37 seats don't count against the the total cap* laid out in the new Section 1. As I understand it, the 340's will have 30 seats, and thus not be counted in the new limit.

Also, I think 425 is the "end state" limit which is not fully in effect if/until management exercises their option to operate more 76 seaters at DCI. I'm sure they'll do it, but the delivery of a 76 seater is what triggers the requirement to reduce the DCI fleet count - ie park 50 seaters.

They also must take delivery of 1.25 717's for every one 76 seater they want to operate. As the 717's aren't slated to show up until mid-2013, they still have plenty of time to announce where the 76 seaters are going.

*It should be noted that there was no limit in the previous PWA either.

Unless YOU are one of the 12,000 that they go on top of. Then again....why are we talking about cyber mergers?????

Perhaps he was flexing his 5' 6" Napolean complex, but what a dork. I can guarantee he will not get the jump seat on any flight I am working.

Well the simple, obvious fix would be, the tool in the blue jeans sits in coach with the other guy's 4 kids, and the Dad, with the khaki's, sits in the jumpseat!

Never non rev in jeans, you tool! Oh, and Ditto on the tool in the right seat! What an ass.
This exact same story with the exact same quotes was circulated around 2 years ago. This sounds like another made up story. This seems to be the main purpose of DPA right now, stirring up hate and then blaming it all on ALPA.

FIGMO, you're so right! I tend to think they're all biased, except for MSNBC. That's the one place you can go and get fact-based, non-agenda driven reporting. The others like ABC, CBS, and NBC do an OK job, but they're pretty biased. Look at how they're giving up on the truth about Libya as nothing but an out of control mob. Can you believe they're buying into this terrorist attack line? Let Fox cover the conspiracy stories while our professional news outlets cover appearances on The View and Letterman.

Not sure where that came from, but it's not from the newest DPA update. Here's the story from DPA on the jumpseat denial

So, you can choose to believe that either the individual pilot is lying, DPA is making the whole thing up for attention and to slander ALPA, or one of our Captains denied another pilot the jumpseat for no particularly good reason. Up to you.
