I hope you all have a great day, where ever you may be. Oh, and what's the over/under we see Tebow in the game tonight?? |

Maybe in your category, but in mine, which usually has only 1-2 G/S per month, they have given out 5 on the 20th, and 5 more yesterday, each one for at least a 30+hr. trip.

Take the time and look through the trips assigned in the last few days. You will find very few GS's. The only category out of a dozen I looked at with any significant numbers is the 777A category in ATL. One pilot posted about assignments like his category was really short. The assignment given out in his category was for a trip reporting 20 minutes later. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__...Killington.jpg |
Not a single GS on the ATL320 this week... crazy.

Can anyone explain why the mandatory retirement numbers posted here on the ALPC Delta page have changed drastically from the numbers posted a few weeks ago?
For example: 2013 was 102, is now 50 2017 was 358, is now 260 2028 was 477, is now 179 2032 was 321, is now 22 The numbers posted now are significantly lower. How is this possible? |

Was the difference due to the early outs that kicked in on Oct. 1, and Nov. 1? How often are those posted numbers updated? |

5 years at DAL, 5% up the list. At this average rate I will be holding A320 captain after 50 years at DAL! Almost guaranteed! Err, wait, the average male life expectancy says I'll be dead by then. I never wanted to use that tiller anyways.
I was 10% from the bottom of the list pre SLI, 10% post SLI, and am around 3% better than that now, but way more junior than I was in ATL pre-SLI on a much smaller airplane. Gah! |
