Not to worry. There are more than enough WidgetAid-fueled paeans here to offset my posts.

Incidentally, I believe you are confusing my pragmatism and/or realism with pessimism.

So, does the bulletin prohibit us from taking bets on how many "meows" we can insert into the gatehouse delay PAs?

Or doing the repeater?

Perhaps concluding with a "now you know, and knowing is half the battle" to see how many people yell out:

What complete garbage to climb in bed with Branson a year and a half after he was bragging that he would put us, or United, out of business. United did not cave ... .
I'll just go with the precedent of our scope that females under a certain weight are allowed in an unlimited amount?

To explain to my peers, Purple Drank and Sailingfun are complementary forces, unseen (hidden, feminine) and seen (manifest, masculine), that interact to form a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system. Everything has both Purple Drank and Sailingfun aspects as light could not be understood if darkness didn't exist, and shadow cannot exist without light. Either of these aspects may manifest more strongly in a particular object depending on the criterion of the observation. The concept of Purple Drank and Sailingfun is often symbolized by various forms of the Taijitu symbol, for which it is probably best known in western cultures.

There is a perception (especially in the West) that Purple Drank and Sailingfun correspond to evil and good. However, in Daoist metaphysics, good/bad distinctions and other dichotomous moral judgments are perceptual and not real, and Purple Drank-Sailingfun is an indivisible whole. In the ethics of Confucianism on the other hand, most notably in the philosophy of Dong Zhongshu, (c. 2nd century BCE) a moral dimension is attached to the idea of Purple Drank and Saiingfun.

Sorry, you are wrong (or maybe much younger than I) Women of considerable girth are like mopeds.

Tremendous fun as long as your friends don't see you riding them.

I've told my hot wife that the next Mrs. BB is going to be some tubby that really appreciates the BB.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our flight which was supposed to depart meow has been delayed. Meowteance has been called to replace the meowtelator bearing. The meowtelator bearing unique to the McMeowDouglass 88. They are getting the part right meow. Hopefully we will be underway before tomeowrow. Your bags should arrive when we do. If they do not they might be covered by your homeowner's policy. That's all for, meow.

What the he|| am I missing?
It seems to me these Joint Ventures and codeshares are a disaster.
The union says the company doesn't need our permission to do this stuff and its wonderful that we are able to achieve some protections. Excuse me but it puts our stamp of approval on the elimination of our jobs. It makes no sense at all. We should be fighting these things with all our strength.
Somebody please explain to me why the US airline representing over 80% of the combined populations of our two countries only gets 25% of the flying?
Right. Maybe the PA issue isn't the issue of the week...

If I read correctly, they can increase their flying 50%, and we need to add 0. They can add seven weekly frequencies. I'm going to go out on a limb here, and guess there is one more city pair the JV wants to serve.

So the enhanced protection of the TA is that we get to negotiate adequate production balances, even though the company isn't prevented from entering the JV anyway, and in any case the largest airline by far is letting the smallest by far keep the lion's share of the flying, unless of course they want more, which is fine. Am I reading this right?

Shirley, this is the quo, and maybe we have to buy VA(merica), and as a quid we all get 100% of VA(tlantic)'s 747's and A340's, and the existing VA pilots get to run the valet parking at Lot 7, while fly to LHR.

Otherwise, this makes no sense.

The AUX pump basically exists to retract the landing gear in the event of a right engine failure on takeoff. It does other stuff, but that's the big ticket item.) Anyhow, being a good (well, not good necessarily, but marginally competent) FO, I looked up the MCO, noted the HUGE HUGE takeoff weight penalty, and suggested we talk to dispatch about getting another plane. After all, given the HUGE HUGE weight penalty, we'd be able to take about 30 people (which equals 10 North Dakotans) out of Minot once we got there. The good Captain agreed, and promptly called the dispatcher. The good dispatcher agreed, and promptly got us a new airplane. Easy as pie, until it came time to deplane....

At which point, the good Captain got on the PA, told the passengers we had a mechanical situation that required us to change airplanes, and then proceeded to tell them everything they did not EVER need to know about back up hydraulics, engine failures, gear retraction, and second segment climb requirements. I wish I could say I was making this up, but the words "flaming ball of wreckage" were actually spoken....

The original plane was full. The replacement plane was not. Good times.
That would have been a stellar pa...if only he used your stage names: Hugh g. Reckshun and Buster highmen
