SFO dining
Here's a classic SFO restaurant, near the lower end of California St., a few minutes' walk from Union Square. It's always busy, so mid-afternoon would be a good time to visit.

I need to tap into the knowledge base on this thread. My wife and I are taking a much needed weekend trip to SFO without the kids and I'm not that familiar the city. We're staying at a hotel near union square. If you had three nights downtown, what would you do? I want to do some of the touristy things but only if they're worth it. My wife wants good sushi and I just want good food and good beer.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

*Sigh* You know, the main point of my post was pointing out that george and the other guy were on the same page, just saying it in different ways. The "suckers deal" was a throwaway comment, and was specifically regarding swapping non-viable 50 seaters for fewer viable 76 seaters - not the rest of section one, which had a lot of good stuff - not the rest of the contract - not calling yes voters suckers. Perhaps I should have said a "bum deal" but then I think ya'll would be accusing me of calling you bums.
I'm personally pretty happy that DCI is getting decimated right now after years of nothing but growing at mainline's expense. I'll be super happy when the 717s show up and mainline grows. How's that for negativity? :D Jungle, No worries. I did "get it" that you were pointing out that George and the other poster were essentially saying the same thing. I did not even really take the "sucker"comment negatively or personally. But I have noticed similar type of comments and so I decided to post my yes logic in regard to section one. Keep the good vibes coming! Scoop :) |
I see the new American contract pays block or better by the rotation instead of by leg. I don't think there's another airline out there that does it this way. How do concessions like this make it into contracts? I know NWA did this and it almost ruined the airline to the point that a letter of agreement was signed fixing it. I wonder how much this will affect American's operation.
