2. Can I book myself a flight for this SIM like the regular recurrent SIMS?

Thanks
There is now a SET training procedure. Goto your fleet and download the profile:

A more thorough description of the training module is available for all pilots to view in the Delta Instructor Guide (DIG) – Student.
To get to the Delta Instructor Guide (DIG) – Student Version follow these simple directions.
• From the DeltaNet Flight Operations page proceed to the Fleet page by clicking on the airplane for your fleet.
• Select the Training Aids link on the left hand side of the page.
• Select the Delta Instructor Guide (DIG) - Student Version link at
the top of the page.
• Scroll down to Module RCY tab (maintain recency) or Module
RECY tab (reestablish recency.)

It's no longer the quick 3 bounces. Sorry to disappoint.

Baja.

But, you never answered your post stating that we should excuse the deficit in our production balance with Air France ... I'm really interested in your explanation.

According to management's own projections, they have no intention of complying. It would take something like an increase from 45 to 56 or 57% of the available EASK's.

What part of our contract should we not seek compliance with and how much is "fair" to compensate management for the difficulty they are having restraining themselves as they pay for "our share" of A380 and 777 flying in Air France colors?

Since you're ignoring the question, I'll try to make it less work for you to reply. Kindly select from the choices enumerated below. This is:
  1. None of your business you junior pilot putz
  2. Not really happening since the measurement period is a year and a half away and we'll renegotiate before enfocement kicks in
  3. I don't care. I'm senior to this problem
  4. YIPPEE, bargaining leverage
First, I never stated that. Retread my post. The post was about the AF and other joint ventures and unrealistic expectations some have on how they should be structured. There are political realities involved. If Delta made a choice today to be a pure standalone airline today where do you see Delta in 5 years. Do you honestly believe as some seem to that we should do half the flying to and from France? Do you believe such an agreement which would relegate AF to a small percentage of that traffic compared to the combined presence of all US airlines could ever be negotiated? My post was in reference to that traffic. It was not in reference to section one which requires we fly 50 percent of all transatlantic traffic.
On that subject I have spoken with my reps on this issue and put in a call to one of the people who monitor the situation. The first point is the company is in compliance with the contract at this point in time. I have asked that we get the company plan to comply. I am waiting for a return call to verify the numbers. If they are as posted here then I will write a letter to management asking questions as I have done often in the past. The letter will be signed. Most forum cowboys tend to be cowards afraid to sign their names. I suspect I am one of the few posters here who have not once but several times received a summons from senior management to include the then CEO over letters I have written.

Your right, but we are "scheduled" to have more mainline a/c in the next couple years, correct? I was ONLY defending that statement. Hard to infer what was in my head with how few words I wrote. Maybe I should stick to underboob posts.

Ok here is another one guys. How do I know where to go for this SIM stuff. I know they were moving the sims to ATL. I'm not on the sim schedule, crew scheduling knows nothing they say and training has yet to call me back.
I'm guessing if in MSP I get hotel for the event but if in ATL no hotel for recency till the 1st of January.

Can't have real live line pilots training line pilots. Oh, the horror.

Can't actually keep jobs for guys on the seniority list.

FWIW, NWALPA thought having a SLI in the box was so important, that it survived not only the early 2000s givebacks and the pension freeze, but bankruptcy as well.

Nu
Wait a minute, who is going to be on the MEC and who is a line pilot? So who is the illuminati and who is not? I guess really I should start with the mock outrage because an elected LEC rep is attacking a poor defenseless line pilot. I don't understand why you can't have a conversation about facts without childish comments and attacks. Sometimes you have the maturity of a 10 year old.

You are right the columns labeled 2008 and 2012 are reversed, I am so sorry that it upset your little candy cart so much. I fixed the picture.

I included the instructor part to tell the whole story and yet you have to go on a rant once again like I was covering it up. DALPA thought it was important to have better duty rigs for domestic pilots and that survived bankruptcy. DALPA thought is was important to have 10% more pay than NWA even after bankruptcy. Blah, blah blah. Each pilot group puts value in the contract where they want to. Just because you gave priority to some items in your contract and ignored others don't start crying about why DALPA made other choices.

I am sorry that you didn't get your way on the instructor part of the contract. You will find that your ideas have costs, costs that have to be balanced out against the desires of the entire pilot group. The contract survey showed the Delta pilots were not interested in putting a lot of value in the instructor part of our contract, that they were pretty satisfied with where we were. I guess as a bottom up guy, you should accept that and move on.

Can we attach riders to the LOA for the VA JV?

I want the BH ratio up to 1.77... actually lets go with 1.9, or whatever the ratio is for DOS mainline fleet + 88 717s vs DCI @450 jets with annual block hour utilization per plane equal to mainline utilization.

Perhaps having me on your ignore list has something to do with you losing your job in the union.

I disagree with the statements on AF/KL/AZ, but this is a correct statement.
