I noticed a 1 day trip coming up and saw a pilot with 1 day availability that I thought would get the trip. Well that Pilot did not get that trip - it went to a pilot with 5 days of availability. OK - Maybe that Pilot requested the trip but then I noticed the Pilot with 1 day of availability disappeared from the reserves available list.
Then I notice the same Pilot shows up next week with a much higher raw score - but this Pilot did not show up on the trip coverage report even once.
So my question is how does a pilot disappear from the availability list without having a trip assigned? And with the increased raw score it appears the Pilot flew but never showed up on trip coverage.
I can think of a few ways the Pilot can disappear from the availability list:
Calling in sick.
Moving x days.
But how would either of these bump up the pilots raw score? I don't think the Pilot went to training (was not scheduled in the bid awards) but somehow disappears and shows up with a higher raw score?
Wouldn't reserve assignments show up on the trip coverage reports? What about covering a trip for another base?
Scoop

I know youz guys are jealous when you see someone else eating crow because it tastes so stinkin' good, but I am going to chow on some.
It does appear that trip parking has been significantly curtailed - even with a and b crews.

I think your RAW goes up when sick. If not, my guess (and it's a pure guess) is that you'd penalize people that are sick by essentially work to make up their sickness. Wouldn't surprise me if there were status driving this.

Hopefully my fellow APC's avoid this crud.
