I think he was kidding, Bar. Or maybe picking on me a little because I think many things NvS manifest themselves in funny ways. I saw it in the Compass issue, but I'm sure not astute enough to detect it here.

Probably more of a Moak-guys vs. Moak-haters thing.

...

You have some serious stamina on this issue, I'll give you that.

I care about our union. In the past it has done a lot of good and made this profession what it is.

Starting in the mid-1990's it changed to a much more self-dealing, secretive and at times self-destructive organization. During this change it has wrestled with it's grass roots membership and it's managing documents.

Here at Delta, we are in the big house where we allegedly enjoy the benefits of outsourcing our labor to lower paid pilots. As a result many of us believe we benefit from the arrangement.

Some of us have seen both sides of outsourcing and we believe to the core that it is wrong for a labor union to facilitate the sale of its members' jobs while liquidating the hard fought standards of the profession.

As Delta hires pilots, more and more of us will have seen this larger picture. These pilots will insist on change. You can see the transformation beginning with those who have been hired post bankruptcy. (The Pinnacle guys, being veterans of these battles will probably be quite outspoken on the issues)

Just as the previous generation rightly fought the unfairness of B-Scale, we will fight the unfairness of outsourcing.

Eventually, we will have our day.

GUIDE FOR HEARING OFFICERS IN NLRB REPRESENTATION AND
SECTION 10(K) PROCEEDINGS

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we operate under the RLA as administered by the NMB.

With regards to NLRB jurisdiction, I found the following on Wikipedia:

The Board's jurisdiction is limited to private employees and the United States Postal Service; other than Postal Service employees, it has no authority over labor relations disputes involving governmental, railroad and airline employees covered by the Adamson Railway Labor Act, or agricultural employees.

Deferring the delivery of the 787s is looking better and better. Maybe by 2019 they'll have it worked out.

So if the first PCS run is on the 20th, how is it that reserve requirements for Feb 3rd went from above coverage to below coverage? 27 required 29 available and now its 27-27. How did it go down if the PCS first run hasn't happened?

One person got to drop their February awarded trip before the PCS run, how do you do that? I'd like to be able to do that.
