Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

My favorite part of the airticle:

"...rebrand US Airways' existing main terminal gates, ticket counters and lounges to Delta's standards....."

In addition to changing the signage around the terminal, my guess is Delta will be restocking all levels of the terminal with fresh pigeons and rats. This will allow a seamless transition for customers who regularly fly out of JFK, while bringing the aesthetic appeal of their "new" terminal in LGA "up" to the standards of all Delta terminals in the New York area.

That's awsome... Sad part is... It is true!!!

Exactly, this isnt to put more "RJs" on routes, its to better the product. DALs direction now is to become the Airline of NYC and a global leader in the industry, they know they cant compete with RJs. RJ's will only cause them to lose business to Jetblue and they know it.

Lets hope they continue to move into improving the product with bringing flying back in house. IMHO i think we will see the growth come mostly on the mainline side of the fence. fingers crossed :D
