Total new rate 301 per hour.

Did you think nobody would notice what you did here sailingfun? We're talking about the TA that is now our contract. That's my reference to minimal gains. I know you know that. Therefore, why would you reference my pay rate years before the TA was signed? And why would you then add a 39/hr DC amount in order to make it look like my pay rate is 301 per hour?

This type of obvious dissembling is beneath you.

It's at the least long winded, and there is some serious self love in there!

Alright, now that there is pretty dang funny!

That makes sense, why wasn't the ALV 15 for International only then, why subject the entire pilot group to it? The 88A in ATL this month is down to 62? reserves. Im not sure on the exact numbers but the number of bodies on res is down.

Toga,

Think about this. ALV+15 will generally benefit the company mostly in the last week of each month. We are mostly short on weekends, holidays and the monthly transition. ALV + 15 will help a little with the transition but not at all with most weekends and holidays. If the company tried to reduce reserves 10% in the heavy flying months I believe we will see tons of green-slips and even flights being canceled.

I think the ALV + 15 will help the company somewhat, exactly how much is hard to forecast, but I think most guys on this forum are really blowing it out of proportion.

While reserves are not currently being utilized to ALV+15, yet. I do not think that this low utilization will last.

I hope you are right. I think the Company's intentions will become clear either this or next summer.

They can flex reserves up in the busy months, but NOT all year round. That would cause a required increase in reserves.

Well, at least you acknowledge that alv+15 applies to all categories.

Personally, I think ALV+15 in a domestic category would be absolutely painful or exhausting. Is there really any doubt that the company DOES intend to use alv+15 in busy months?

In my category, it wouldn't be terribly exhausting because most trips are hard time. The problem with it is that if you combine alv+15 with 7 shortcalls, and you commute (even a long drive commute), you might as well have a mini storage unit rather than a home.

NYC ERB is out back door. Wondered when all the senior guys would figure out that sitting around collecting a paycheck is better than flying. Lines went really junior but at 65-68 hours. Yikes!

I just got the latest issue of the ALPA magazine. There is a section that lists names of pilots that have retired since March of last year. I counted 176 pilots from Delta alone. How can this not equate to hiring?
