I think there will be a lot less NYC 7ER displacements then you think. There may be some, particularly as a result of ATL guys coming North. As a matter of fact the latest Crew Resources news stated the category was overstaffed, but they were trying to figure out whether they needed to ADD 7ER FOs. :D

Only time will tell. :)

I'm hoping so. Do not want to go back to the Mad Dog, no offense to FtB and others who love that airplane.

It doesn't matter how someone should be treated as a DAL pilot. Thats not why I asked. With the usual depth of your tweets I understand though. I asked since it would better explain your insistent anti-everything DAL or ALPA attitude. One look on your page and post history and its obvious this is true. Which is why I asked if you "applied" or flowed. I can't imagine for the life of me why anyone with your thoughts would have applied here. Reading into your answer I am confident of the reasons now. Easy come easy go huh?

But who wants to think about facts when they can take a shot at assailing someone for pointing out the negative effects of a very poor TA?

If that's what you actually think he is all about than you are right. I see him different. He is the same type of problem so many organizations have, a side liner heckling at the guys on the field about how bad they are doing. When asked for help....he will be the first to call in sick.

Staffing the schedule with reserve pilots will become the norm.

I can't believe Alfa and Sailing haven't jumped in already... ***

Give them time...they are either (A) sick, or (B) working to the point of fatigue...

(insert chuckle here)

How many NYC 7ERB displacements are some predicting? I'm hoping to hang on too.

At least he's blocking a shot. If he were a Vancouver Canuck, he would jump out of the way of the shot AND THEN take a dive on the follow through of the stick.

The latest Crew Resources update states they're trying to determine whether to ADD 7ER FOs. So it's anyone's guess. :p

They say they do not plan on posting openings on the 88 on the next AE and do not need to post openings for Summer 2013 flying.

As to displacements off the 88, they think enough will bid the 717 not to have to post displacements. If more than enough AE off the 88, then they may even do some backfilling if enough bid off.

But right now, the 88 is overstaffed.... at 10 pilots per plane.

This is just another part of the triad on another sales mission. To get 88 guys to bid 717 to save money. That is all. Another sales job. Try to keep up.

Correct. And some 767ERs will be reconfigured in a high density configuration for island destinations out of Japan.

What are these? ROR, SPN, GUM and HNL? Am I missing any?
