Remember, this is a 365 day bid, so they can (and will) post more bids in that time, where they can 'fix' the imbalance on the 717 right seat.

OR, maybe they know they have that many guys coming back from Mil Leave who will return to those slots?

Why is that?
Because of the ease to transition to the 717 or did I miss sarcasm

Johnso got it. The 88 folks can still work on the maddog all summer and then go to school for 5 days and be ready for the schnauzer this fall.

Schnauzer = a little Mad dog

Where does it say that those were unfilled positions? Maybe that just decided not to have that many openings on this bid.

Well if the openings were there to begin with, wouldn't that make them unfilled? :p

Maybe they decided to leave them open rather then displace more. Or maybe they will flow people up. Hard to say.

That is a possibility as well. I truly hope no one thought they would get the summer off!

I like it! Why not chihuahua? :) Those things have some tempers.

Speaking of dogs, giving my dog some of my beer last night was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. He got all cuddly and clingy, became a bit uncoordinated and wobbly, and fell off the couch.. twice.

My wife was very upset she didn't get to see it.

On a good note, we recaptured some DC-9 flying and apparently it went a whole lot senior than I thought it would.

Careful, lots of people do it but alcohol is quite poisonous to them, same deal with FAIPs.

By my count, it's pretty much a wash for the bottom 15% of the list.

What do you mean by wash? Doesn't matter anyway Im moving back to res on the weekends since my wife wants to work tue-thurs and I'd rather watch the kiddo then have him go to daycare.

Alcohol isn't poisonous to FAIPs....it's a necessity in our daily lives....one might say we are "functional" :D

I'd say that varies from base to base. :(
