If you only produce 10 doughnuts/day, but can sell them for an increasing premium as time goes on, that is a positive. Especially in this industry. There was no way he was going to announce anything on that show. Next time I see him though I am gonna ax him if Maria is hot in person. :)

Richard and Ed have been banging the "capacity restraint" drum for a while, and Wall Street seems to like it - stock is at a 52 week high once again. It's when airlines flood the market with seats that everyone loses money.
Delta won't comment on a widebody order because if they are making one, they are still discussing it with Airbus or Boeing. Don't want your big suppliers knowing what and why you are doing it. (other than talking points). |

I suppose that means if somebody is giving airplanes away, we're taking them. But overall he seemed to say that barring that, we'd be fine with what we've got for now. We will sell our souls for something the company was planning on doing all along. Some cheerleading from ALPA on the deal that needs to get done "NOW!" False promises of (fill in the blank) and bingo a handful of wide bodies just became available and we skunked what our careers "could have been" once again. We pilots, lead by ALPA not so smart.
