This is why I'm moving to SoCal...

Any place that puts a restroom for dogs, in their airport (San Diego) is ok in my book!

P.s. Anyone looking for a beautiful lake house in Newnan, Ga? I need to move before my paid move expires next year!

You go through the machine for your carry-ons. After the xray, you are dumped back into the terminal for your connection. Use the second line (downstairs to the right). The line is much shorter (you can go to the front if Dh'ing in uniform).

Thanks, great info!

Where are you guys?

The pilots that they were posting against are not posting right now.

Ok all you douglas nuts, chance of a lifetime

OK all you Douglas lovin nuts, close the office door and turn down the lights, you are about to fall in love.

The Air Force just released from it's inventory a DC-9 which operated as Air Force One with an opening bid of $50,000. It looks ferry'able, or at least as flyable as any Douglas product has ever been. The price is cheap, less than a quarter of the expense of one MEC meeting and everyone knows you could get a lot more done in a DC9 than at an MEC meeting.

It's former Air Force, so it probably smells like AXE bodyspray & running shoes or something, but look how the aluminum is polished.

Don't say your old buddy Bar isn't looking out for you.

If you are age 64, buy this, launch VFR, try to open a flight plan enroute as "Air Force One" give every airport and base you can think of a fly by at M 0.75, land it on the beach in Pensacola and donate it to the NAVY for a 12.6 million dollar tax write off (not taxes on your 401K withdrawals!). Voluntarily surrender your Certificate and enjoy your retirement like Sully!

... and it comes with Air Force spares which means probably enough parts to build the space shuttle, or trade them at the recycling center for cash to pay for your fini flight and legal costs.

I'm actually thinking about bidding on this thing. Bid $15,000, figure another $10,000 to trailer it, $5,000 for Septic and Water ... Voila - Vacation Home! Scap aluminum is 0.70 a pound. What does this thing weigh, empty, without the AXE Bodyspray?

Extra long bungee cords? Not a bad trick Tsquare.

BTW, boats are fast... and so are killer whales. Holy cow.

What's being cheerfully reported above sea level as a wonderful encounter with a playful pod of killer whales enjoying an exchange with humans for an hour is probably viewed underwater as a tragedy. A pod of hungry killer whales gave chase to some contraption, at full speed. Despite being inches away for about an hour, they never were able to get to the food inside.

I can empathize with the killer whales, I've often spent an hour at the Willy's or Qdoba at the Atlanta airport giving chase to food and despite being inches away for an hour, I never got the food inside and I went on to the jet hoping to find snickers or peanuts and a warm coke.
