Who said anything about my union? Just saying you like, love, enjoy, to use fear tactics when addressing your agenda.

I am, like pilots should be, risk averse. I refuse to go off half cocked, flamethrower in hand until I have all the facts. I do not have them yet except for one. That is not enough evidence for me to pull the fire handle. I have no "agenda". I am merely expressing my opinion. You can do whatever you want. You have a vote on anything, same as I. You don't like what is going on? Good. Call your rep and tell him about it. Just like I did. If you insist on saying that my position is the use of fear tactics, I will refer to yours as arrogance and condescension. I will give you credit for referring to it as your union though.

Default NRT fallout

I know asking a forward looking question here on APC is like asking a group of hookers the going rate, but with the NRT stuff in the background along with the open AE about to close, how does NRT impact the next year or so as far as manning and domiciles......

Ferris?

Means hiring will be delayed again and us 2010 hires will still be referred to as probies.

Actually, I'm pretty sure "newhire" goes all the way back to 2007.

It could be worse. Our F/As used to refer to new 727 S/Os as "baby pilots".

The bottom 25% of the list goes back over 15 years.

I would argue new hires go all the way back to 2001 Dal hires and 1999 NW hires since they have all remained in the bottom 15% of the senority list for the past 13 years. Certainly we will move backwards again with this displacement bid. Yes I know that some senior FO's may move up but our group will move down yet again

Rumor to confirm or deny: SWA delaying 717 deliveries because they need the lift, paying DAL penalty payments, (DC9 to hang on a while longer?). Heard from a JS'er riding with SWA crew.
