No to distract too much from the Asiana crash or the Zimmerman trial, but is anybody else having issues with PBS? I'm trying to bid days off in August but the only calendar that is available is July.

"it sounds like"
"they probably were"
"I think......"
"they must have......"
"no one saw........."
Keep up your statements boys. I just hope none of you heroes who are quarterbacking this accident end up on the other side of this equation someday. But it can't happen to me, right? says the innocent pilot with the little evidence released by the NTSB.

BTW, if you're paying attention, the NTSB has released a boatload of information in the three days. An awesome job actually.

Did you click on the arrow (right side) at the top of the July Calendar? When I did my bids several days ago, the Aug. came right up, but I was using the Navtech PBS site, linked from DL Net, not Easy Bid. If you are using Easy Bid, it might be a snafu with them.
Here is coverage of government action to break Asiana's 2005 strike by sending 1,800 "riot police" to force 400 pilots to work while Asiana was flying a compromised schedule with scab labor.
Not a big fan of Korean Management. Even their Bar B Que is greasy. I am curious to know if the LCA was a striker, or strike breaker. (and while on IOE, this is the LCA's jet, isn't it)
My instincts might be wrong, but I would hope ALPA considers whether the guy is a scab before offering assistance.
Chairman Hirshman has done an excellent job at the NTSB. Do not know anything about the handling of this matter, yet, but she's been a very strong safety advocate in the face of political pressure.

Anyway, back to the originally scheduled programming....
I'm using Navtech and there's no arrow. I've tried two computers...onto the Ipad. Thanks Timbo!
