Now that sounds like a paid vacation opportunity if ever there was one.
Thanksgiving/Christmas season off?

BTW, have any 717 guys ended up actually getting the summer off as was rumored when they opened the category?

Yes sir. I've got quite the "717" beard going, but this Mr. Mom stuff ain't easy.

Advance Entitlement to be Posted on Friday, July 19

In order to continue the flow of 717 pilots through the training pipeline, an Advance Entitlement (AE) will be posted on Friday.* The bid will close at noon EDT on July 29th.* Crew Resources plans to post another AE in the late August or early September timeframe with 717 and 737 Captain and First Officer openings.

"the flow of 717 pilots " Is this a flow down from higher paying fleets?

Lowest paying aircraft, no current hiring, parking 757's.

I can't afford Quality Tail, I've got to go with Volume!

That's my only investment that keeps right on growing. :D

Bar, to answer your question... 88 > 90.

Just curious - why is this? I see your -90s around and think, "Man, I bet those engines spool a lot better than ours!"

The 90s engines > 88s... Unless your mx, they'd say 88 >>>>> 90 just because how it's mounted.

Gold bond has quite a curious scent... Bear are curious creatures. Use with caution in the backcountry.

Hope your trek takes you up into the Valle Vidal... Best outdoor hiking experience I've ever had.

Philmont is an experience of a lifetime (two-time Philmont trekker), glad you can go with your son, my Dad was able to go on one of my treks and I'll always remember it!

Reserve Scheduling question:

I've been on call since the 13th and go until the 23rd. I have not had 24 hrs off free from duty yet. Not on a layover, not at home. When do I have to have it by? Is it sometime in those 7 days, or can it be the 8th day? SC today and SC again tomorrow with no rest and tomorrow is my 7th day.

I know they don't have to give it to me since I am on an international category and I just get restricted to International flights, but want to know when that restriction will kick in. Thanks in advance.
