Good. Their surprise objection to the merger just screwed everything up. I see that AA/US Air wants a trial in November, but the DOJ wants a trial next March, in the hopes that the merger deal will fall through after December.

GG,

Thanks. That paints a much better picture than 1 guy saying he flew everyday. If all categories consistently trended this way I would agree with you that we have a problem. I will caveat it with exactly what I said when I posted categories that showed no such trend - these are just snapshots and we need to conduct a systematic review prior to changing the system.

Uh, yeah. Right. Those individuals enduring abuse under this system should take comfort that some others are enduring less abuse.

A weakness in the contract is a weakness in the contract regardless of how sporadically it is implemented.

Some strong words coming out of Atlanta from Kingsley Roberts about C2015, ALPA and DPA.

It's a long letter, I won't post the whole thing here - everyone will see a copy anyway, but this was about the strongest line:

"Let’s be clear, DPA’s efforts are a blueprint of the USAPA disaster and we cannot afford to repeat the US Airways fiasco here. "

Thoughts?

Agreed. I sent in a card early in the drive. Then TC opened his mouth and continued to put his foot in it.

Just go read the the pro DPA people on the dALPA board and here. They sling more mud than a congressional candidate.

ALPA is not perfect and has many warts but DPA has shown me no proof that it will do any better than USAPA let alone dALPA

While a smaller category, the distribution on the Atl 320 is routinely similar to that.
