Just measured walking distance at JFK T4 from van dropoff to B41 (which always seems to be my gate). Going thru KCM, back to McD's (only place to get breakfast sandwich for less than $9) then out to the gate and down the jetway:
3800 ft. Of which less than 1/6th is moving walkway, and those are worthless because they're so slow and narrow you can't pass the folks who think they're a nice place to take a rest.

Been reading some blogs, and folks are NOT happy with the new T4. Can't say I blame them, I hate the place myself.

However, I didn't know about this planned addition of 11 more DCI gates to T4, and closing T2. Where are they supposed to go, between T4 and T3 over extending off B20?
