I had a lot happen between the time you told me and now. Starting with the fact that I made it from JFK gate B36 to LGA in less than 30 minutes.

That's enough to erase anyones memory, Mr. Kung Fu. :D

I was thoroughly impressed with that commute. Had an opportunity to do it the other night and backed out. Would've made it also. My kung fu cojones are smaller than yours!

How are you folks always bumping into other L&G posters out on the line? Whenever I've met someone who seems well informed on topics we discuss here I ask if they visit apc and have only ever gotten the whaaaat? Response. This during beers so I'm not thinking its an incognito effort-- I of course don't ask someone unless I think they're a decent dude.
But you guys are bumping into folks on the Js! Are you giving each other the secret underboob hand signal? Dropping a line like, "oh well bill lumberg sucks mule **** hey?", that everyone can agree with?

Well in this case, I had the wrong person. Apparently, NERD and I have never met. My bad.

But I have flown with several F/O's who are on this board... no secret underboob hand signals were needed to figure it out... :D

I've flown with a couple frequent posters on here. Sometimes you don't even need to ask. They speak the same way on the line as they do on here. If you read these posts long enough, these guys reveal themselves on day 1 of a trip.

It seems to be working again, for the moment anyway. I got the same message an hour ago but just a couple minutes ago I got into iCrew to see my Dec. schedule, they've finally run the PCS for Dec, at least in my category.

Gots to love the new FAR 117!

Reserve question for everyone:

Let's say you are in the 2nd or 3rd bucket and there is a trip you want to yellow slip. Will will scheduling award the trip to pilots in the 1st bucket before they award your yellow slip?

I think somebody answered this, but to be clear a YS will NOT put you
ahead of a pilot in a lower bucket. Assuming there is one trip and you have 2 or more pilots, but are in different buckets, the lower bucket will get it irregardless of a higher bucket yellow slip.

Then the flight had a mechanical ==> 30 minutes late.

Of course, once I got on the plane, I was like everyone else. "Let's go!" :D

Wait. That's the opposite of the way I understood it. Damn. I have no knowledge. :(

While non-revving out of NGO a couple weeks ago on the 744, three pilots walked up and greeted the agents, and then the fourth came up a couple minutes later...he just looked a little...off.

I had to wonder...

Could it be...?
