Just checked my YTD ALPA dues.... $4887

Definitely not getting the representation I deserve for that amount of cash outlay.

Oh well...someone has to pay for the oil painting of Commodore Moak.

Good news is the 3% raise should cover dues and increased heLth care costs next year....nothing like treading water for the last 10 years.

Funny! It was behind the FO's seat. I noticed it and the FO hung onto it until we had some sit time in Atlanta. There wasn't a name in it and the chief pilot's office was closed, so he left it in the lost and found.

Carl hang in there! There's alot of lurkers here and you are their voice! You and 88driver keep these ALPA mouthpeices in check.

One last thing just came back from Las Vegas where I grew up... best friend from high school is a Southwest 92 hire....saw his 2013 ytd earnings (Nov 15 check).... going to go over 300k for the 8th straight year....works 17-18 days per month
