Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Should be interesting. It sounds like the SWA guys may have effectively taken a pay cut (because of overstaffing and less premium pay opportunities) since they published their data a few years ago. It'll be interesting to see some more current responses... if they respond.

Quick question, will PCS let you swap a 4 day for another 4 day over the same period if they are bellow the required reserves?

Rolling Thunder is the most effecient way to make more and work less, no doubt. If I lived in base, I'd be doing that every month instead of bidding regular lines! I chose to live where I wanted to spend time on my days off, vs. making it easier to get to work. So I value my days off more than mo'money, 38% of which goes straight to Uncle Sam anyway. 28 years and I have yet to fly a greenslip. I turned a 5 day GS down last week worth 64 hours.
They can't tax your time off yet, but I'm sure they are working on it!
Timbo, now with frms, reserve is out of the question for 777 commuters. 30 hours off before each short call. You'd be a commuting zombie.
I hope guys are seeing the higher number of green slips going out and pulling their whiteslips.

Between my time on the MD88 and 757, I've commuted to domestic reserve for about 10 years, I'm done with that! But if I lived in PTC, I'd be all over the Rolling Thunder. Today I'm happy with 2 1/2 DXB per month when I can hold that. 10 days, 75 hours and lots of beers shared with my dogs at sunset, from my dock, after a day of sailing. Beats a Greenie any day.

Look at the pass policy and its about half way down the page.
