Not sure what you're asking. Are you trying to drop a trip or reserve day(s)? If you are swapping day for day with trips (as long as your swap isn't creating or exacerbating a below coverage situation) you should get it approved. You can usually APD with less than 20/20 coverage (once a year). In either case you can pick up on days you had off earlier in the month regardless of staffing.

These are the CRJ900 epaulets aren't they? Instead of Epaulets, they are "Egolets."

I think I'm going to promote myself to Admiral. I am tired of being out ranked by RJ guys.

Sorry. Drop a 4 day later in the month that has 20/20 coverage on the first day, and pick up a similar trip earlier in the month on off days.

Any way, what ever happened, it's over and done with. I'm looking forward to the Super Bowl. Number one offense against the number one defense. Should be a great game! Oh, and even better, I have it off!

I'm pretty sure it won't let you drop it with a PD since the coverage isn't higher than the resv required. Same reason for why it wouldn't let you swap it.
One thing that would be nice to get is allowing swaps if we swap into a "worse" coverage situation. A lot of times I have wanted to swap a trip that was even on coverage for one that was on days that were negative. Still won't allow it.
All this talk about pilots and parties... I have a great story!
I was at my wife's high school reunion which was at a hotel. I was hanging out at a table enjoying a free beer while my wife was hanging out with her friends. From across the room, I see a guy in a pilot uniform! I thought that was kind of odd. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he may be on a layover. I decided to walk on over and strike up a conversation. If flew at Skywest at the time, and I didn't recognize his uniform.
Me: Hi. How's it going? You a pilot?
Him: Yep.
Me: Who do you fly for?
Him: Skywest.
Me: Really? Southwest?
Him: No. Skywest.
Me: Skyway?
Him: No. SKYWEST!
Me: (Enjoying this way too much) Skywalk?
Him: (Getting frustrated) NO! SKYWEST!
Me: Do you mean the Skywest in St. George, Utah that flies for United and Delta?
Him: Yep!
Me: That's odd... I'm a pilot for Skywest and that's NOT our uniform.
It was SOOOO classic! Turns out the guy had a class date a couple weeks in the future and decided to wear a pilot uniform to his 10 year high school reunion. He didn't plan on a Skywest pilot being there! Funny stuff!
