Alan while you are cyphering. 9:16 carry in and 2 weeks vacation 45:30 for a total of 54:46. Res guarantee is 79:15. How many days of reserve would I be on the hook for?

...and you turn into a pumpkin at 58:39 under C2012 instead of the old contract of 78:30 (ALV)

An item conveniently forgotten by the anti-DALPA crowd, who seem convinced that there were no positive provisions of C2012 and all reserves are working under conditions similar to the rowing slaves in Ben-Hur.

Some guys are of that mindset, however most are confounded that we gave up what we did to get what little gains were made.

I'm not Alan but I'll take a shot at it. If you bid reserve in a 30 day month and have 14 days of vacation in that month with a ALV/Reserve guarantee of 81:15/79:15, you should get paid 87:46. The carryover will go against your reserve guarantee. I used the reserve proration calculator that someone made to figure this out. It's calculated mine perfectly the last couple of months.

With 14 days vacation in a 30 day month with a ALV over 75 hours, you will be on reserve 16 days. Of those 16 days you will get 6 of them off plus the one more day if your category qualifies. With a RG of 79:15 I would guess it does not. You'd be on the hook for 10 reserve days. (A couple of witch you will be doing your carryin on.) You will get 3 golden days.

Most were of the mindset that a billion dollars in improved pay and 1000 pilot jobs through scope recapture got their yes vote.

Scope. C2012. ALV/Reserve. Heavy stuff for a Thursday night. I'm gonna lighten it up a little:
