We are picking a fight with Alaska! Great! How bout we pick a fight with Emirates and get some heavy lift on order! All Delta does is rely on our JV partners to fly heavies.
We need some movement at the top and that has nothing to do with being miserable.
Again now go back to reality and post some more naked pictures like you always do!

With all this displacement talk did you guys see that the AE is out with lots of ER vacancies. Even west coast!
But maybe it's a good thing. When they figure out just how badly the RJ experiment has failed, maybe they'll start getting rid of more of the stupid things and we'll get back most of the flying that was taken from us.
Exactly. I predict this will blow up in their faces.

T,
They did say on previous Crew Resources newsletters that the 7ER needed an increase for summer 14 flying only, and that it's needs would decrease again after the summer... and it's still being retired. In fact, there is a very great risk of being displaced off the ER FO position next fall. Please recall that displacements off the ER this past fall, WHILE we were hiring, caused massive trauma to junior FOs.

I think it's more likely that either not as many 757s are going, or they are going slower combined with the possibility of upgrades to the 717 coming from the 7ER right seat.
And then to post all these vacancies today to the 7ER again - for a likely Sept or Oct conversion window? Just doesn't make sense that they would get displaced "in the fall".

Do YOU Know what it means when we are parking 75/76s and getting 900s and 717s in return? That Msp and Slc 757 are toast. That those junior people will be displaced to smaller equipment.

How are you gonna get "buy/fly more heavies" written into the contract? I'll leave it up to you to think about the ramifications of the rest of what you just said.... but before I do, let me ax you a question: Do you have shiny jet syndrome, or do you want to be well paid with a great QOL? hint: what can we control IN our contract?
