Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
You already purchased our airline. We negotiate directly with your management(Bridge Agreement), we also get paid directly from Delta. For a legal point of view, we are Delta pilots, we are just not Delta CBA represented pilots. Labor law is actually free Tsquare, you don't have to pay for it. The problem comes form what happens when the NMB sides with DALPA, yes, there then becomes more mouths to feed at the table. But, this is about restoring the profession for all those poor souls that won't be lucky enough, or well connected enough, to get on with the ever shrinking mainlines, where viable careers are found.
If all you want is bigger contract gains, then I see no point in even having this discussion, because you might as well just sell more contract items, everything is for sale. However, take it from me, someone who has millions of dollars, money isn't everything, you just exchange one set of problems for a new set of problems.

I'm sorry Mesabah; but unless you have a Delta ID and a seniority number, you're not a Delta pilot..regardless of what your paycheck says.
Anybody familiar with the vacation move-up process? I need to move a week next January. I know I can probably slide it on my bid, but I need to get it moved now so I can make some solid plans. I thought I had it figured out and submitted a move-up bid, but haven't seen anything happen.

Why would we (express carriers) get anything but stapled? Bottom of the list like your SSP guys and our flow guys. Flying an RJ with a Delta sticker on the side for any amount of time doesn't earn you longevity and/or seniority at Delta or any other major.
Mine is blue also...whose jobs are shrinking? Hiring on the left, hiring on the right. The dark storm clouds were passing over mainline for years now. Starting to lighten up a bit. Are you employable at a mainline? If so, you should be giddy.

Which is the whole point really, if all anyone wants is money, then this career will be much of the same, good for some, horrible for most. It's hard to convey one's message over the internet, I was not bragging, nor trying to impress.

That was not what you said. First you stated we as mainline pilots couldn't appreciate the stress that outsourcing was having on the pilots involved in the accident. So I showed you that yes many of us could.
Second you said the line couldn't be drawn from this accident to the 1500 hour rule and it should be drawn to outsourcing. Once again if outsourcing caused those accidents mainline would have seen many more accidents then the regionals.
I appreciate your passion for unity but in this case you are mistaken. We can argue the validity of the 1500 hour rule but experience of these pilots caused the accident not the outsourcing.
Ughh, I'm not trying to impress, I'm trying to say that it would be nice if this career was one worth pursuing in the future. Money isn't everything, as you pointed out with your Beiber example, and I agree, Beiber has money, but no one respects him, nor does he respect himself. Which, is what I was trying to convey in my original post.
