If its a co domicle airport then you can measure that two hours by the airport closest to you and any other airport will take longer then 2 hours. The earliest you can be required to report is 12 hours after they put you on short call. I have never seen them hold a trip to cover it the moment you have to answer the phone. I also suspect it would be contractually wrong.

The trip in question was assigned to him at 0030. He was put on a 0630 SC at 2030. I recall seeing it in the open time pot when he was converted. (or shortly there after)

I think your roaches and cicadas in California are in Sacramento and might have something to do with your tax issues. :D

In all seriousness, with the amount of talent that was around at my brothers wedding, we could have only hoped there was a pole around after the ceremony ;) Gotta love good ole southern girls

Heyas,

LM said some words about the company changing it's stance regarding the republic thing at the LEC meeting in DTW when someone asked directly about it.

Like everything having to do with domestic scope, it was shrouded with a dense fog of equivocation and whatnot, so take that for what it's worth.

Fact is that many of the pilots that live there love it. Good school, decent enough shopping that the Mrs does not whine, get to drive the golf cart to the grocery store, etc. It really is not that BAD of a life down there.

Only issue, is you get to see a lot of co-workers when you are out.

I was referring to the parts of Detroit where it was suggested pilots buy the cheap homes. i.e. the Detroit version of Peachtree.
