Denny

Me neither, nor Twitter, tweeter, or what ever the hell that is! But my 4 kids live on it, which tells me all I need to know about it.

What ever happened to privacy?

Rocky,

Definitely good news, but I wouldn't consider SLC-BZN to be "SkyWest Flying." We used to do it on the 727 and I even did my 737-800 IOE to BZN in 2003. More like DAL flying that got outsourced and that is now being insourced.

But l agree with your ":)" - definitely something to smile about.

Is it just me, or did anyone else find the "No you have not found the holy grail" comment in the May Maddog Messenger slightly insulting....

Is there an Indiana Jones reference I'm missing?

Right after the Western merger in 1987, I was out in LAX going through 727 F/O sims, talking to some Western guys.

They told me some of their most senior pilots were flying the 737 out of SLC to Butte, Boise, Billings, Bozeman, Kallispel and Jackson Hole! They would go fly fishing on the layovers, they retired off the 737 just to get senior enough to be able to hold those trips.

So...we are FINALLY getting those layover back?
