Interesting, since without oe you are not qualified to operate the aircraft without a check airman in the other seat, so you're still in training.

That's an interesting interpretation indeed. Perhaps it could (and should?) be pushed? But the company's position is that you can NOT do that. The system will let you book anything anytime of course, so be very careful. If anyone is thinking of doing this, I'd get backup from the CPSC, your rep and someone in training scheduling. In writing.

Yes, just to clarify, DH's are DH's. You can book them like you would any other deviation. You just can't book a normal commute PS to be in base for the trip.

Qualification training concludes with the LOE during your final sim session. That's when you get the type rating and are qualified to fly the aircraft on paper. OE is a separate beast entirely.

That is one way of looking at it, its a good thing that no training goes on during OE...since you hear in the sim..."you will learn that on OE."

RESV Help

I'm thinking of bidding res in June, but can't remember when you bid for golden days? So far I've figured out the min on/max on/max grouping off and know I have 12 X days with 6 of them golden....just can't figure out when I bid golden.
Thx for the help

I have procrastinated on my bids this month...I tried Easybid last night with no luck. Tried the PBS desktop and that didn't work either. I saw the blurb on I crew about bidding computers but didn't read too closely. I was thinking of trying my IPad with the regular PBS application on delta net.

Is Easybid still not working or was my computer having a bad night?

Thanks, E

S4...Fortunately! I can't imagine how ****ed I'd be, after hauling the mail for 26yrs, and some 27yr guy's/gal's "buddy" bumped me from a flight.
