80 / 30 * 16 = 44:16
Vacation = 14 * 3:15 = 45:30
Total pay = 89:46

And don't forget that you can use your bank to "fill up" also. If you are a young/junior guy, you really should fill your bank as soon as possible. Especially if you are a newhire or if you are going to upgrade anytime within the next year, or go to a higher paying seat. There is nowhere you can invest today, with the certainty of this technique and get the kind of return you will get, because remember that you take the time out of your bank at your current rate, not the rate at which you put it in....

You can also go negative if needed. Making sure you get full double pay on a GS is a excellent reason to use negative bank.

Most amazing thing I ever saw was him sitting hour after hour in the NRT computer room helping guys do their bids just after the merger. He was like a life guard in a pool full of drowning guys, and he saved us all with a smile on his face. THEN, he would go down to the sports bar and sit and talk computer bidding until........well after I left the bar, so that would be late.

I'm incapable of saying enough good about John Bell. Just a thought, but has there ever been a drive to put him up for Chairmans Club?

Ferd

Absolutely agree...JB is a Rockstar. If he's not on here, I'm gonna facebook a message so he can see all the kind words being used. Cheers H

It's happened before, but it was a few years ago. Usually it's 2 or more days.

Attention ALPA members.... there is a new call-to-action out right now. If you go to the Delta MEC Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DeltaMECComm
You can get a link to the call to action as well as more information.
It's time critical and needs to be done today!

Since I am probably the only one on here that doesn't facebook, you can also go to dal.alpa.org and click on legislative affairs.

I did it and it only took a few seconds.

Regardless of anyone's feelings about ALPA, this is as important for our carriers as scope. Please take a moment to fill out the form. Members of congress actually pay attention to this stuff. Thanks.
