We all contribute to this pilot group. Honesty is questioned anytime people post things they can't prove and don't pass the smell test. Rather than prove what's been claimed, the aggrieved or their supporters will often times cry that you're questioning their integrity, patriotism, honor, etc. It's classic debate technique to deflect by showing outrage against those who ask for evidence. Nothing new there.

You do it with great regularity.

Any amount that's against those who you support is "great regularity."

How about a little run down on your post Republic/NWA career so we can have a little perspective?

There is tons of that info on me on this thread. Happy reading.

I didn't say, "I Recall Correctly?" Not sure if that was a typo, or how you originally read it. I used the abbreviation, "IIRC." (Meaning, "If I Recall correctly.) Why would I have used that when I admitted I really didn't know? Well, I guess, because I didn't first ask you what I should put in a post? Next time I'll PM you a draft response before posting it to the forum. I had thought it was 17%. I "recall" (there's that word again) reading/hearing/being told somewhere, maybe by a friend, that it was 17%. I was wrong.

Yes, thank you. As I mentioned above, you can proofread my posts prior to submission, if you'd like?

Thank you, oh wise one. I didn't know that would happen if someone put up misinformation. My life is complete with your infinite wisdom and knowledge. Thank you again.

I would say, "don't write what you wrote then, and put it a different way," but that would just sound *********-ish  and make it seem like I was being critical of others, when really a little introspection goes a long way.

Good eve,

Or possibly when you started fanning the north/south flames about the same time?

Never happened.

What I observed is that is WAS NOT a N/S issue and I wondered why others were making it so.

Thanks for reminding me what a waste of time this board has become.

Overall, Delta's a great airline. This is a great job.

Bar out.

Yep. I don't consider it worth doing research to report here any more. Carl's turned it into a Flightinfo part duex.

Nah, couldn't be that. Bar says he's never done that.

This thread was MUCH more interesting to read when we were standing together, holding pitchforks and torches to our Reps for allowing CDO's into the TA.

Now instead of standing in unity of what we really desire, we're back slinging mud at each other. What happened? Get bored going after the company, so we go after our own?

Not in my mind Gearjerk. We need to be unified...that's for sure. But the unity has to be based on factual information. That can be the difficult part as facts can be hard to come by. In court, facts are generally derived by statements that are able to withstand tough cross-examination. Everything else is spin, fluff, and opinion.

Eventually, this thread finds the facts. Sometimes the process can be a bit untidy, but I think it works.

3rd grade name calling and calling your fellow pilots liars shouldn't be part of it.

That's an odd thing to say considering what SF routinely brings to this board. He creates no unity. He motivates no one. He's the antithesis of Dave Behnke in what he says and his lack of resolution to improve the plight of all airline pilots. He comes on here spewing management talking points. A case could easily be made that he is a company stooge. He offers no solutions or strategies. Only that restoration or meaningful gains are a lost cause.

We have been told many times from the ALPA inner circle that releasing survey results blows our negotiating position in front of management. You would be a fool to think management does not read this, the most active Delta pilot board on the internet. SF comes here daily broadcasting to the world, management and our fellow pilots that we have zero leverage. Why do that? Why support a man who does that? Even if we are screwed (and I don't think we are unless our leadership allows us to be), how does coming on here daily listing the ways we can't achieve much help our cause? Answer: It doesn't.

I agree, unless people come here and lie. When that happens, it needs to be called by its rightful name. Not accepted because its too unpleasant to challenge.
