Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

As far as this AE goes for ATL320B they had posted 15 openings, 10 people bid off, and 10 were backfilled. Net gain of 0 positions. Does this mean that the 15 positions are now available as new hire positions?

The 747's were an anachronism.

As usual, Delta is re-fleeting with newer equipment.

... and that's not the only part of the puzzle. Hawaiian is 300% more expensive than it was when I thought the merger made sense, but an airline with cash for stock buy backs at market tops ... well these managers have already demonstrated a proclivity for buying at the top.
