They can't circumvent scope and merger/fragmentation language in a CBA. DL and NW's scope and merger language mandated an eventual merger with arbitration if it couldn't be agreed upon. If you are attempting to drag AT into this, they were operating under a vastly inferior NPA contract that wasn't nearly as strong. That was what enabled the end result and what provided the leverage of uncertainty that was used against the AT pilots. But to imply management holds all the cards and can always do whatever they want is completely false. |

Make sure that you and your Dad are on the same record locator. When you check in choose S3 and you both will be S3.
I would not recommend trying to list and activate yourself as a non rev on a flight you are operating as a working crewmember in an attempt to boost someone else's boarding priority. That is a huge no-no. |

They don't give out posters anymore? My last school was in 2011, and I got posters. We've had unlimited access to CAPTs since before I was a noob in 2007.

What is the earliest report you can get as a reserve Pilot coming off of vacation?
Can you get a report time prior to noon? Scoop |

Thanks guys.

For vacation I think its noon for anything, including short call. That by default makes it a 2pm report off short call (or reasonable report of course).

Our biggest chance to get back our share of flying just happened:
AFKLM posted earnings of $800M+ for Q2 North American ASKs +3.6% over Q2 2013 Delta makes money, when AFKLM makes money, and that's a good thing. More (E)ASKs means more flying on "their" side further raising the bar for Delta to bring us in compliance. (The last thing I want is to get back to 50% share of flying by having AFKLM shrink to match Delta. I'd rather have Delta grow to match AFKLM...) Since we fly smaller jets, we have more to gain when capacity is added and more to lose when capacity is reduced. Over the past few years, all we've been doing is reducing capacity and flying less than our share. Cheers George |
