For vacation I think its noon for anything, including short call. That by default makes it a 2pm report off short call (or reasonable report of course).
Even without vacation, day one can only be 10AM if its on your line prior to 3pm, but I'm pretty sure you're off the hook from thats scenario coming off vacation so its noon for anything, including SC. |

Its amazing what they will do to get a flight out 1 minute sooner, even on paper. 40 minute turn keeping the plane? Well you just got rerouted into a 35 minute turn 4 concourses away and another crew 3 concourses away is now doing a 37 minute turn to take your flight. Suprise suprise they all go out late who woulda guessed.

We are going on a Europe cruise next week and bought regular tix so we wouldn't chance not getting on as non rev's. Turns out the flight we bought tx for is wide open after all, especially in BE.
Wondering what the protocol (if any) is for talking our way up to biz class? Is this even done anymore? Thanks! |

Sell your tickets back (cancel them and get a refund) then non-rev on the flight, in Business Class, Fo'Free!

Can someone splain me how flying with the same pilots and fa's on the same plane all day is less efficient than what we currently do? I really don't understand.
You don't have this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AH4ZmAeimV...ig+Picture.jpg |

Bad advice unless you didn't read his scenario.
I would not recommend trying to list and activate yourself as a non rev on a flight you are operating as a working crewmember in an attempt to boost someone else's boarding priority. That is a huge no-no. |

DON'T DO THIS!!!! It is specifically prohibited and can cost you your non rev privileges or employment! You can't. On rev on any flight or city pair you have EVER held a ticket or reservation on the same day. Read the rules on travelnet.
How far out do you have to cancel? |
It's been almost four hours....why is the AE award not posted yet!!!!
I forgot to update my bid...not that I wanted to change seats. The above was sarcasm but any guesses as to when it will be out? I'm guessing it will be out at the close of business on Tuesday. Have a great weekend everybody, E |

How would this work for "vacation any?" If your vacation gets split into 3 or 4 blocks, would each one count as a day coming off vacation?
