I'm thinking there are Western and Pan Am pilots really chuckling about that right now.

Great, then stop with your idiotic comments about your fellow pilots. You're the only one here that does it Bar. Like it or hate it, the rest of us have moved on.

They did hatch a scheme. We had a response planned. Delta backed down.

You'll save us all a lot of time if you would just stop with the fNWA pilot hatred. How about you give that a try?

Posted without comment. However, I'm pretty sure that's a CRJ cabin...

Just wondering if anybody has spotted any Surface RT's in LCA's hands as is being put out by the company. I also wonder if we'll face delays again when they have to rewrite all the programs for whatever operating system is on the next device...

I see it. I think it's funny how Barry is always openly trying to knock off a piece.

Yes indeed. But instead of DALPA responding by saying: "have fun baby, it's been real" ... DALPA will be saying: "No baby don't leave, we can make it baby!"

Wish we had a face palm emoticon.

You sure you never flew for NWA?

The JVs are taking jobs on the high end and we allow it via scope.

We need better language and we need to strongly enforce it.
Language means nothing without the will to enforce it. Let's learn how to enforce first.

But they can hold the 330 so there goes the down hill slide for everyone. The worst thing about this is that the highest paying job in the airline is going away just like the 757 going down to 737 pay. So how is that 85% Pacific flying give away working for us now??? Personally I'm pretty tired of the pro DALPA guys telling us how good things are. This really blows unless there is a follow on Wide body order coming soon. It will be huge stagnation again for a long time. It's a little frustrating seeing our code share partners flying the 787, 777 and 380s around and the company out of compliance. Where the hell is the UNION????

this 747 retirment has become a funny game delta is playing with wall street. I skews the capacity numbers to keep wall street happy for this year. It shows capacity discipline, Wall street's 2 favorite words after non-union. They reduce capacity this year and increase it next year with more airframes. I am not sure how it exactly breaks out but they can find a measure like seats available and massage the numbers.
Another thing this allows delta to do is reduce the airline in the shoulder months to increase the flying/capacity only in the summer. They have done this in the last few years with there in-flight premuim cabin upgrades and heavy checks.
