117 duty was 12/14/9 and contractual was a max of 12.45. Ended up at 13.09. Is there anything we need to do (paperwork wise) due to exceeding the 12?

If the FAR limit was 12/14, no you gave your concurrence and you are good to go. Now make sure that the 13:09 is not the PWA duty but FDP duty. The PWA duty listed on the rotation adds 30 mins to the duty that the FAR's do not recognize. In your case if does not matter as you were at a min, 39 mins over the 12 hr limit, so going forward you cannot go over 30 mins over until you have a 30 hr prospective rest break.

Not well. My understanding is that Flight Ops was almost begging for more pilots for quite some time, and that RA was saying not yet.

From the amount of open time today (and lack of awarded trips) for ATLM88B it would appear the scheduler just threw their computer out the window and walked off the job.

Now there's a visual. :D

That is how I understood it. For something like a year or two.

How does one request a blank line? Is there an option in PBS or do you have to call in the request?

You have to call and speak to a schedling supervisor.

If you get an rll, you will either get a reduced line or a blank line. You have to bid for an rll, it's a bid group. If awarded an rll I believe you have to ask for it to be converted to a blank line.

Passengers all over the terminal, planes with no pilots or flight attendants, pilots and flight attendants with no plane....Impossible to get through to crew tracking or accommodations. I finally left @ 2 A.M. airport jammed with pax...

What a nightmare..........

Was it Tstorms? We left for ACC half empty. We were expecting 224 but only had 156 due to Atl-JFK flight being delayed.

It's ok though. DAL is now listed in the S&P 500. Hiring wasn't necessary 2 years ago. We are now properly staffed.

Perhaps rotation construction folks finally realized that 3 day trips on the 88 allow for more guys/girls to fly extra flying.....

September 3 day rotations up to 50+% as opposed to 80% 4 day trips.

Here I have sat for 3 days watching the meltdown and GS going waaaaay junior to me.....all because I have a crappy 4 day trip tomorrow, so am ineligible for a sweet GS today....or yesterday, or Thursday.....

Watching one guy go out on his 2nd....for 6 GS days so far this month! OUCH!
