Wasn't Ransome put on the Pan Am list?

That was corrected in a subsequent email....

I have said for several years that, at some point, this will be our livery (and all that implies).

The irony in this is that this is by far the best company I have ever worked for. That tells me that these situations should not happen. Our system needs fixed. The company that runs crew accommodations needs to be replaced, and these jobs need to be brought in house.

Last month, ended up in D.C. @ midnight with no hotel during an IROP. No way to get crew accommodations... no hotels to be found... finally hopped a hotel bus to crystal city and walked door to door asking for two rooms... ended up putting $800 on my credit card for mine and my FO's rooms.

Wrote it up and told Chief next day, I will never push again without rooms on the rotation... no more promises that it will be done by the time we get there.

Turned down 3 late night GS offers last Friday because I was not about to repeat the above. (From what I heard about this after, sounds like I made the right call. Btw, all 3 flights cancelled due to lack of pilots.)

They need to fix this crew tracking/accommodation problem ASAP!

As much as it pains me to say it, looks like a 717 base for NYC. Just announced on Twitter: Shuttle operations to be moved from the Marine air terminal to terminal C at LGA and will be operated by the 717.

So much for a west coast base

Not sure either.

Carl

To hasten our demise, without selling the farm in the process. Our bankruptcy contract wasn't the end of the concessions here, and the EtD/Bridge agreement are just the beginning. ALPA will do anything to keep this 9E thing going.

Yeah the crew activity statement is back!

On DeltaNet as well. But only mentions BOS-LGA on 717, DCA and O'Hare are still 175s.

I bet we see all the shuttles move to the 717. The west coast 175's from LA-SF-LA and SEA-SF-SEA are always late and/or canceling. I bet we still see the 717s on the left coast if the regionals can't find people. Mainline needs the feed to Sea and LA for the Intl stuff.

Although I think the west coast stuff will be up-gauged and/or some frequency cut out, I don't think a 717 would perform any better than the 175s are because the schedule that the airplanes are expected to fly from 06:00 to midnight is just absolutely insane. Nothing longer than a 30-40 minute turn the entire day...what could possibly go wrong?
