Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

He's the only one who decided to run so he's the only FO choice we have. FWIW, he is a good guy and I believe him and GW would make a good team for SLC.

Nothing wrong with line checks. Guys who worry about them, probably know they don't do stuff by the book and it shows when you try to fake it. Besides, all my line checks have been good. Get some good info and some good insight. So I hope this negative line blitz point of view dies out quickly....

It is not meant to be negative. It is to correct some of the misconceptions that are out there with all of the phase of flight changes.

I don't know................It seems suspiciously coincidental that this blitz is announced after the last couple of weeks!!:rolleyes: Seems to me to be more of way for the company to be able to say to the FAA: "Hey we line checked 1200 crews and these incidents are atypical." Or something like that.

I guess it's just me and my paranoia! Except it's not paranoia when you KNOW they are out to get you!!!!!!:D My excuse?! Must be the Mad Cow kickin' in! Hey can I take sick leave for that!!!:D

I would normally agree, but I know a few LCA's that have planned to be sitting on the JS the entire month of Nov.(They have known this for the last two months). The simple fact is that the timing is coincidental.

I'm of the same mindset in regards to line checks- if you fly standard every day, just fly the same you do every day and it's a no brainer- except dont pull out the sudoku and do pull out the O2 mask. :)
