I think the owner of Red Bull is from Salzburg. He's a big aviation nut (Red Bull Aero Racing) and has a hanger near Salzburg that is a large personal collection of aircraft. I believe there is a bar suspended over the plane collection that you can sit down with a drink and look over the planes. Google it since it was just getting started when I was there a while ago.

Brain trust question...
Going to Germany/Europe with the family in a few weeks. Which rental car company do we get the best discount with? Is it still beneficial to make the reservation in the states for pickup over there or does it matter anymore? We are going to Garmisch/partenkirken for 5 days then Salzburg for another 5. Open to input from anyone who has gouge on those places and that area. Gonna get fat on schweinhoxen and augustiner pils (not the Munich stuff, the Trappist stuff in Salzburg). Gonna work it off mountain biking. Yeah! |

Considering that, I thought y'all looked pretty good on the field. I'd be pretty optimistic about the next few years if I were you.
The future is bright indeed. So bright in fact I gotta wear . I'm actually optimist about beating the gators this year after the showing they put on against the KittyCats. |

Three college friends from the academy were
retiring in the same month...they decided to get together on a mutual overnight and discus their final flights and retirement plans. The Delta Pilot said, "I'm going to fly my Boeing Triple 7 to Santiago. I have paid for all my close friends and my family to have the entire first class section to themselves. I have hired a team of Andes mountain guides and mules and we are all going to the top of Mount Aconcagua and raise a flag to my stellar career! Then when we fly back to Atlanta, I can't wait for the water cannon salute and from there we will head over to Eagle’s Landing Country Club, where I am a board member and have a retirement party that would put Fast Eddy Chandler to shame!" The United pilot said, "I, too, purchased the entire first class section to bring along my entire family, kids, grandkids, cousins nephews and their families! I will fly my Boeing 747-800 to my favorite layover, Tokyo! I have reserved the entire Tsukiji Market and since we are all avid sushi fans we will have a banquet and our chef will be none other than; Jiro Ono...who is considered the best chef in Japan! We will then tour the market place the next day and fly home to San Francisco and I already have the 'Bay Tour' reserved! I, too, am excited about my water canon salute! Then off to Dutch Henry Winery in Napa for a private retirement party that would put Mark Sanders to shame! The US Air pilot said, "I'm going to fly my Embraer ERJ-190 up to Buffalo...my third wife is going to try to get off work and see if we can get her on non-rev. I wanted my 7 kids to come, but they won't even talk to me any more. I have a 15 hour layover so I am excited to try the chicken wings at Duff's Famous Wings...I can't afford to go to the Anchor Bar, be cause the Day's Inn van only has a 5 mile radius. But we are going to splurge and get the 20 piece with fries and going crazy and getting Medium Hot! The next morning, I only have one leg back to Philly and we get in right before the 9 o'clock push, but they can't do a water canon salute do to the influx of traffic....thanks a lot Southwest!!...so I'm going to buzz the runway...and then I'm going to pull up to 45 degrees and do an aileron roll!!! The two other guys were astonished! "Are you really going to do that?", they asked in unison!! He said. "YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I AM....well...if the captain will let me." It's better to be lucky than good in this business. |
