I like hearing people answer the same questions, I find it informative and I personally believe its good to have answers side by side. I am very glad some people did it.
I think we as a group should also answer this question: 1. What is this airplane? *hint, and I am sad to even write this, it is not a Boeing or Airbus of any type. http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviatio.../4/1599425.jpg |

It does seem a bit odd doesn't it.
This whole thing is just ridiculous. Nothing against LD, to the best of my knowledge there are not any legal concerns, if there are DALPA should state as much. Furthermore, if bylaws were broken, were the candidates provided this information so as to have the ability to comply with the bylaws? I don't care if a little green man comes to ask the candidates questions, that doesn't make the questions any less relevant. Just as there are no legitimate legal concerns with the representation of Delta pilots at Compass and no legitimate legal concerns with the restoration of our scope through unity. The only "legal concerns" we may consider is who's providing legal advice. We certainly have the resources to retain Counsel independent of ALPA National. Our politicians should not try to practice law and our lawyers should not practice politics. |

You in the nail on the head. I'm just waiting for slowplay to come out of hiding and eat his words like a man... :D (original wording for bar's post nuked) |
Actually I edited that post, but you got it first. LD is a really good guy and he does a lot for our pilots. I appreciate everyone who serves our pilots and works to make this an even better place. I'm embarrassed for being critical of someone who helps.
With such a good group of candidates you've got to have some way to discriminate the guy who best represents your interests and that was my litmus test. I decided it was too personal ( does not apply to those senior to the bottom few hundred in ATL ) and tried to yank it down. |

If we're not careful, a LOT more of these with the side that says "Delta Connection" on the side will fly the MD88/90 routes as well.
Shouldn't that be good for the bottom 2000 Delta guys? I mean, they can sure feed alot of guys into the hubs and that will result in growth at mainline. If AMR had a bunch of these, those 2000 guys they have furloughed would be back by now. |
