How many decades after we put a man on the moon was it before we invented a viable rolling suitcase? Talk about misguided priorities. :D |

Just to point out, reserve FOs don't have the ability to avoid azzhats. It's either get off the trip or use other methods. They can't bid around them.
That being said, I've only had 1 CA in 6 years here that I just didn't get along with. |

I'm really impressed with the guys and girls Delta has hired. It's really an amazing cross section of talents, abilities and personalities. The NFL is a nice feature to enhance CRM. CAs, IMHO, should have the same access.

Because I was the junior puke for awhile, I got to see all the idiots the other F/E's were sicking out for! There were some real "Characters", no doubt. But until CRM kicked in, (after our horrible summer of 1987) we just had to grin and bear it. The Captain was King, and you weren't going to say sh!t about it, certainly not while on probation! I saw one F/O get up and throw a $10 bill on the pedestal and say, "Thanks for the flying lessons...azzhole!" at the end of a 4 day trip with an overbearing Capt. that was telling him every move to make. I thought it was great, but I kept my mouth shut, laughing inside only! ;) |
