Douche move.

Here you go :

You can’t always get what you want, but attorneys for former Gov. Jesse Ventura got most of it when it came to reimbursement for legal fees they incurred in their successful defamation lawsuit against the estate of the late Chris Kyle.

U.S. District Judge Richard Kyle has ordered the Kyle estate to pony up $40,989 to the Ventura legal team.

Kyle rejected only $5,213 in expenses, but some of them are notable.

....

The estate objected to some of the costs, among them $120 in baggage fees incurred by one witness, Tyrel Ventura, the former governor’s son, who carried two suitcases each way from Washington, D.C., on Delta Air Lines. Judge Kyle (no relation) ruled that the estate should not have to pay that bill. He also rejected a bill for two extra days of witness fees ($80) by Tyrel, who stayed for the weekend after he testified.
I don't see how he won the defamation case anyways, the second you become a WWE wrestler you've given up the right to sue anyone for defaming you.

The best part is thanks to the movie Jesse ventura will sink rapidly. Deservedly so.

Both programs require you to show up and give a 100%, but there's certainly more information to absorb as a new guy on the ER vs the 73n.

I've been on both, and I'd recommend the 737 for a newbie. That's not to say that the ER isn't a great fleet to be on, but there's more work out of the gate for sure. (Coming from a guy without any international experience before Delta).

ER for quality of life and some better trips without question. Much larger and more comfortable cockpit too.

Without question you won't regret it.

I agree, do the ER gig. I have never regretted doing that first, it was fun and relatively easy.

How do you tell if your trip with a check pilot has some IOE being planned on it? Is it a total unknown, or is there somewhere to go that gives you some gouge ahead?

The flight numbers start with an L and there's a note about IOE being planned in the remarks section. It's not official until they call you to release you the day before, though. It's how I lucked my way into getting Dec24-Jan8 off .

There's usually a "L" or "I" next to the flights scheduled for OE. Generally there's a note at the bottom to the effect of: LCP Strickland to give IOE to FO McFly.

Regardless, it's not a bad thing that we no longer have USair being the kid in the corner wearing the dunce hat.

Also AA has a lot more 777 than DL. I think pay banding (*banded higher rates) is a must on this next deal.
