Necessary Delta pay increase (Jan. 1, 2016), to match American Airlines' proposed pay rates

Group 1: +9%

Group 2: +19%

Group 3: +23%

Group 4: +17%

That quote is taking out of the MTA slide. As I mentioned that is the raise we would have to see to bring their MOU rates up tp their TA rates. Above that they have a chart with the exact actual percentage differences in pay.

Due to the grouping, it's an overall average of 7% above DL rates. Their 330 gets something like 10 or 12% above DL rates since it pays the same as the 777. Vice versa, the lower ends of the groups get less than 7% above DL rates.

Regardless, it's not a bad thing that we no longer have USair being the kid in the corner wearing the dunce hat.

It's 7% at signing but 10% next JAN. They have a 3% raise on that date. Every little bit helps.
DALPA, the company and the NMB had their come to Jesus meeting about negotiations this week. I heard it went well for us. Better then the same meeting in 2012.

Question for the PCS gurus:

I have vacation Feb 1-7 and a line w/ three undesirable trips. I also have three PB days in the bank that turn into vacation days if not used by March (according to a call to crew scheds).

I want to drop all three trips on the first PCS run and roll the dice at building a line with open time trips.

How can I get the most credit for the 3 PB days in the bank? If I am able to drop the three trips already assigned can I then call Scheduling and have them place the PB days on the three highest credit days from the dropped trips?

Many thanks!

I don't know the answer to any of those questions, but if you have a carry-out trip into March, I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

In PCS, are swaps run before white slips or vice versa, or, are both run in senority order. Next, do I even make sense?

Thx,

Humboldt

Nope. Drops run first, then white slips, swaps go last.

First of all, you need to read the Scheduling Reference Handbook. On about page 106 it explains how you can use payback days that you have accrued.

That being said, how long are the trips you want to get rid of? If they are 3 days or greater, you will only be able to use the PB days to get paid for one trip or part of one trip. PB days will start on the first day and then every consecutive day of the trip until they run out. Example: If you have a 4 day trip and only have 3 PB days, they cover the first 3 days of the trip. You cannot say which days you want covered.

To use PB days from last year, you need to personal drop (or APD) the trip and then call up crew scheduling and tell them you want to use the payback days from last year to cover the trip.

Bottom line, you cannot use PB days randomly to cover certain days.

Good Luck!

Denny

A Minnesota jury decided this last summer that Ventura had been defamed when Kyle alleged he had punched Ventura in a bar in 2006 over comments he made. The sniper claimed Ventura disparaged Navy SEALs at a memorial service for a SEAL who had been killed when he jumped on a grenade, saying that they “deserved to lose some” for their actions in the war. Ventura, insisted the whole event never happened, and the majority of the jury — it was an unusual split 8-2 decision — appeared to agree with him. Ventura took nearly $2M from the widow and children of an American hero who was not even alive to defend himself.

True or not, what a disgusting, low life, sniveling, piece of dog s___ . If somehow, in some bizarro universe, Ventura truly needed "justice" against a dead vet, bring the case, take a buck and your "moral" victory, and go crawl back under your rock.

Apparently Ventura no longer feels safe attending UDT or SEAL social functions. Jesse, if you do decide to go, I'd love to be there to watch you attend your last one.

I struggled on whether to attach the following graphics. I know herring references can be a little to subtle for some. I hope cartoons aren't taken too literally. My intent is not to make light of the situation but rather to impress what a true douchebag this guy is.
