I wanna say it was like 30+ planes if I remember right. Also it's not to add anymore airframes but to be able to increase more 70 seaters to 76 seaters. The cap has been set on airframes I believe.

For something completely different... Bored out of my skull, I decided to peruse ATL777B open time, you know, to see how the other half lives. We've got a bunch of flights going to Lima. What's going on down there that requires a 777? I've never been there but I can't imagine it being that big a market. Is it cargo, performance?

Asparagus.

We need it for Cargo.

And gold. And speed so it has a better chance of connecting with the NRT flight.

Yes, it seems that ATL is one of the best connecting points from NRT to South America.

Ummmm, how about LA? I don't understand why we aren't expanding here. Like other places, this is becoming SWA hell.

To use RA's words, There is no point in acquiring Alaska when we already get all the benefits of ownership!

While the SLC M90 base is going to MSP, Wilbur said the plan is that there won't be a big displacement of MSP 320 to SLC. Rather, those SLC 320 slots will be filled by the increase in narrow body flying. IOW, the MSP 320 base won't shrink as much as one might think, which would reduce the ripple down effect a MD has on the system.

.

Any clues as to how many displacements they might do. I am well within the bottom 90 and kind of hoping for a MD so that I can get back to having a line.

But Alaska doesn't fly to South America. They have grabbed our Mexico trips, for the most part, but nothing south of there. I can personally attest to that. I can see us losing our 73 routes to them, but how about some ER and 77 flying from LA down to SA?
