I agree. Wife says white and gold. Not sure we're gonna survive the night!

My wife flipped out when I said black and blue. She totally sees white and gold, most of the time.

I'll hand it to Georgia Tech though, they said it's obviously gold and white. :D

You'll understand when you're asked. It's blue and black.

Good Lord, where did this come from? We're USNA parents. My wife got it fm a parent's forum. I'm laying under the Beast trying to run some wires for a backup cam, face and eyes full of sand, grease, whatever. The spousal unit comes out "You've got to see this!"

"Now?"

"Yes."

"Really?"

"Yes, right now!"

"&!@#*)!"

I still don't get it. I'm so sick of the internet.

Anyone -

First post, and I hope I get it posted correctly.

Question: does anyone have any credible info on how many hours Delta is wanting a guy to have in the last 12 months to get an interview?

My numbers:
- 23 yrs flying, all Air Force
- 3,100 hrs IP
- 4,000 hrs PIC
- 5,050 hrs Total
- 4,980 hrs Turbine
- 3,100 sorties (Turbine)
- 1,324 MEL sorties (mostly T-37s with about 2.5 yrs in C-130s)
- Never been a DO, FE or had any Safety stink on me (bummer)
- Currently a T-6 Texan IP (last 9 yrs straight) but have only got about 191 hrs in last 12 months (that's about average for me over those 9 yrs). Yes, I'm trying to ramp up hours but every day I fly "today" I lose 1 day's worth of flight time (if I flew that day) from 1 yr ago. So, is there a min number of hours Delta likes in the last 12 months and if so, what is it?

Bueller? Bueller?....

Publishing aps in about a week. I'm sick of counting beans from my AF flight records folder.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know what to tell you. I have recommeneded 4 guys, only 1 that got an interview was a flow through guy. The other guys are great pilots with a good resume. Even better they are great guys and would be great pilot for Delta. I have talked to Cheif Pilots and even a guy that does interviews. Nothing, these guys are just waiting.
SW did hire one. He wanted Delta as his first choice.

Unless my wife says otherwise.

Just curious, What are they gonna charge you for the landing fee?

Email from the FBO - this is the most current info
Landing Fee: $6.00 Security Fee: $5.00 Facility Fee: $40.00 waived with 15 gallons of fuel or a top off Overnight Fee: $10.00 per night Drop Fee: $20.00 ( this fee is applied in place of the facility fee if the aircraft does a quick turn without fuel)100LL is 8.99/gal

3/15/15 is the date of the trip. Arriving around 9:30 am and departing 1 pm. Hopefully I won't gum up the works too much :) Flew a 172 to KATL back in '95 and the controllers did a very good job of sequencing us.

White and gold, obviously.

Does this make me look fat?

I tried to get the HR rep in my interview to divulge what the magic app contains, but mum was the word. I can only go by my app which obviously hit the markers. My times are were very similar to yours, for what that is worth. I did have a couple safety stints though, if that is even a player. I also have a grad degree. I'm assuming that as a 23 year AF pilot, you do too. I've done about a dozen letters, and only one has gotten an invite, a USN P3 guy who had what I considered low flight time. I basically said some of the guys walk on water, and e mailed their apps directly to HR. No call......It's a total mystery.
