In a nut shell read PWA Section 6.

My interpretation is that you will get your paid move for 24 months from the MD.
If you AE the 320 it is in the same base. I would call Contract Admin and get the OFFICIAL union take on this. (It is too important to you for anyone to be wrong)

Thanks for the cliff-notes ACL. As far as the flows, maybe they changed the Vol. 1 or I'm going to have a rude awakening next week. There have been a few minor differences, but the flows from the book are all they have had for me, so far. I hope they don't try to change it on me in the 300 series.

Anyone know about the ATL >> DTW commute?

MSP appears impossible to commute in and out of.

The last Apollo mission was my first memory (I was 3) - I sure would like to take my boys to the last shuttle launch - may be the last one they'll see for a long, long time.

BTW, they will give you alternate/preferred flows on day one of 88/90 training. I wished they told me that, as I got them down the book way, and then they showed up with better ones day one......

The giggling sound is me, thinking about "alternate flows." I have plenty of alternate flows. :D

Its a very quiet albeit low cost protest.

I like the transition from the MD88 (C-POS) to the 767 (dreamy) flows.
  • Flaps - Up
  • don't do that
  • that's automatic
  • don't have to do that
  • don't do that - yawn
  • temp controllers actually work
  • gear handle off
  • done :) now what do I do for five hours, oh yeah, Steak, Chicken or Pasta?

It is hard to schedule all 400 of you for nights, holidays and weekends and still have enough coverage for Tuesdays. I know that's what took them a long time on my airplane, but they figured out how to do it.

Chicken, Steak or Pasta? Are you kidding me, the FA's eat all that long before I get a call.
What you were to have meals on this flight? Well, they didn't cater them.....We have PB and J.........

FLTs are full, but Bar remember that we are not to SOC yet. After SOC all of that stuff will slow.

DTW here I come.

Got good intel on condos about 1 hr from the parking lot to. 50-70K!

I'm an ATL guy but I jumpseated to MSP a few weeks ago. Plenty of open seats on all legs. That was a Friday and Sunday. I operated a couple of DTW flights and we were totally full leaving multiple jumpseaters with hire dates of pre '97. I've heard ATL-DTW has gotten bad. But maybe its just the days I did them.

Go Ann Arbor. I flew freight out of PTK in the mid '90s. What a craphole. And that was when DTW was happening. I can't imagine it now that it has 25% unemployment. I've heard near our hotel its fared out pretty well.
