Emirates First Class (frankly, go in a G550 and you're not going to see this nice a set up in each seat):

We both have 43 seats in "first", but they've got the 8 suites and 35 lie flat and we have 43 lie flat. I'm sure if the suites were worth it they'd put them in. I'm sure our guys are smart enough to know that with Delta we'd end up having to give back too much of the $16,000 ticket because the passengers would want a rebate for having to have a cranky grandmother as their flight attendant.

Is anyone able to log into the ALPA site? Since they made the switch to a new webserver, it's been buggier than a bait store.

Nu

Works great, but I did a new password and an alternate password. I have not had any issues FWIW

The idea is yield per seat. They have looked at the 777-300 and I would venture to bet that the decision or at least the appearance of the decision to keep the 744's around longer is for one of three reasons 1) the ROI is just not there and 2) Boeing is being stubborn on price 3) We can fill the 744 up and make money with it!

Shuttle is about to go, I really wish I could just get one FL overnight to see that thing go before it quits flying.
