I will go further. You are correct, I am out of my league talking about the DB termination. It is not something that is worth my further study. What I do study and make my focus is an argument against ever having another one again. (How is that for unbiased honesty)

I've said it many times in the past- DALPA does a lot of things extremely well. But does that remove any responsibility of screwups? Absolutely not.

The people on this forum are at least thinking about this stuff, right? ALPA bashers or not, they are very informed, and that is great compared to the majority who know very little of what the issues are. I would guess that close to 100% have voted on our council elections. This forum could be the first step to the involvment you respect, so let's be nice. Ok? Turn your :mad: into a :)

We're in complete agreement on that, my friend. But weren't you one of the guys a few dozen pages ago recommending we look into possibly reinstating the DB just so the old guys would retire? If not, then I'm wrong on that. In any event, I think any type of reinstitution of a DB, regardless of who holds/manages it, is a bad idea. Glad we agree.

I said that if the group wanted it it is our responsibility to look at it. Not just tell people they are wrong. I am more than willing to look at others options even though they are not what I would want. That is me taking input, much like what you suggested above. I think you will find out, that I am the real deal, very pragmatic, but in the end I want the success for this group more than anything. Why? Because my wife and kids well being as well as each and every other pilots depend on us "winning" or restoring as much of this profession as we can. It is simple as that.

PG, I beleive that I (most of the time) do that. People can get frustrated, and that is totally acceptable.
