By your posts you think the reps are a) lying AND b) getting paid off. I sure hope the answer to both is no. Can you can prove any of this or the truth of any of the rumors APCers are obsessing over? I doubt it. APC Forums are anonymous discussions/commentary. No one is taking a lie detector test. Lots of the stuff posted here is flat wrong. Some math errors are so gross its silly. So far this "Contract Season" I'm not seeing much of any use. At least that much is consistent. That and the usual stirring up of (and by) the usual suspects. I'm looking for a great contract. I don't expect to "concede" much. "Tradeoffs" and "changes" will occur. Sorry, but they are inevitable. When we get an actual TA we can judge if the quid pro is worth the quo. Till then this Forum is full of rumors. Do you want REAL information? My neighbor invited us over for barbecue. The boy can cook. That is FACTUAL and what I call REAL! Later. Or maybe not... OFG

Uh huh. Well think what you want. I don't care. I don't post much because I burned out on pilot forums quite some time ago. (Maybe something you should consider Mr. 1,357 posts). Im only on here today because Im out sick and bored at home.

I enjoy very occasionally trying to tamp down the pervasive "let's burn the place down" rhetoric that forums like this disproportionally attract. Too bad there is rarely any useful information here at APC that is not related to hiring, how to get hired, why wasn't I hired, or what to do if Im not hired.

Do you really see a lot of people on here who advocate burning the place down? Or, do you equate people who say, "In this environment, we should not agree to any concessions." as wanting to burn the place down?

If it's the latter, how would insisting to no concessions be burning the place down?

Pervasive: existing in every part of something : spreading to all parts of something

Ok then, since the "let's burn the place down" rhetoric is so thick here in your description and recollection, chose your top three posts that aptly depict that and copy and post them here.

Give us proof, produce it, and display it here because the reasonable people here aren't subscribing to your interpretation.

You all seem to be forgetting something very, very important. If we drag out this negotiation we can not only expect very nice profit sharing increases, but we will also receive annual pay raises.

We just received a .55 per cent raise - not much but remember UAL and AMR have contracts with raises coming for the next few years. Don't forget the little known codicil (thanks Dean Wormer ) in the DAL Pilots contract that matches the average pay of AMR and UAL.

Now that average just passed barely us, but each year they get raises so it wouldn't surprise me if we get a 2-3% raise every year even if we are parked.

No need to rush anything boys. Either we hit a grand-slam or we wait it out enjoying pay raises and increased profit sharing.

Correct, I am assuming the risk of other employee groups unionizing will make it inevitable. Probably, a bad assumption on my part, with us being in section 6 anything is possible.
